Youth Pastor

Pastor Aaron is the middle of three brothers and grew up as a missionary kid in Ukraine and the Philippines where he watched his parents plant two churches within that time.

He returned to the U.S. in 2008 to pursue his Biblical studies in theology and pastoral ministry at Christ For The Nations Institute and in 2011 joined the Freedom Center Church as a college leader. In 2012 he came on staff as the Youth Pastor.

Aaron & his wife Shinobu have been married since 2013 and have three beautiful sons Titus, Judah & Ezra.

They love serving in NEWGEN and watching God raise up the next generation of leaders and God-Seekers!

Hobby: Pranking his kids.

Fav Food: Mexican food. Definite love language.

Trinity Benoit and her family have attended this church for over 20 years. She was born in Sugarland Texas and is attending college at Wharton County Junior College. She became a youth leader her senior year of high school and is so excited to continue mentoring and leading this new generation towards Christ.

Her hobbies are: baking, studying the Word, and hanging out with friends

Favorite food: do iced chais count lol? Kidding i love most types of pasta and cheese!:)

Justin has been going to the Freedom Center since he’s been a kid, and has loved growing up in the atmosphere of the Freedom Center.

He got involved in NEWGEN in middle school and loves the YFN experience each summer that they went to.

His favorite verse is Philippians 4:13, believing that “[we] can do all things through Christ who strengthens [us]”. Justin has been working on his Computer Science bachelors at UHCL and is planning on majoring in Software Engineering. His favorite things are Marvel Movies, Video Games, and Star Wars. Justin loves the leadership position and will continue to work for the NEWGEN leadership.

Shane is constantly excited to be at NEWGEN and the Godly atmosphere that is there. He loves showing and emphasizing to students the infinite value that Christ has placed on each of them and how Christ has rescued us from our sin!

One of his favorite verses is Psalms 91:14. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. “I love getting to see God’s presence not only grow in the lives of the youth, but in my own life as I serve here. Seeing the youth come to an understanding of who God is encourages me to serve God more”

Hobby: Coffee brand Lap 24, Working Out, Mountain Biking Cars and anything to do with adventure!

Fav Food: All food is a Gift from God, or a medium rare steak from Longhorn or Taste of Texas
